Welcome to my corner of the Internet!
I am a writer living in Dallas. My work has appeared in The Dallas Morning News, Christianity Today, D Magazine, Southern Humanities Review, and Texas Monthly, among other publications. In 2019 my short fiction was featured at the Dallas Museum of Art as part of Texas Bound, a literary showcase featuring Texas-connected actors reading fiction by Texas-connected authors. In 2015 I was a finalist for the Christine Eldin Memorial Fellowship for emerging middle grade writers hosted by The Lascaux Review. I have a B.A. in philosophy from Hillsdale College and an M.F.A. in creative writing from Seattle Pacific University.
If this is your first time visiting, may I suggest starting with this essay about the car accident that changed my life or this essay about my first solo camping trip.
